Sports

Keeping in view that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body; Aravali creates the maximum possible facilities to promote the spirit of sportsmanship. Sports lounge at AITS has various indoor and outdoor games facilities like Table-Tennis, Carom, Chess, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Cricket and other board games.

Institute has excellent sports facilities for all outdoor and indoor games and adequate emphasis is given on all round growth and development of students. Institute has well maintained cricket grounds. Volley ball courts, Basketball court, Lawn Tennis Court and Badminton court are available for students. A multi-gym exercise has been provided to the students. Indoor sports equipments viz. table tennis, chess etc. are also part of the sports facilities.

Aravali Open Championships

Includes Table Tennis, Badminton, Carom and Chess events.

Aravali Team Championships

Includes Cricket, Kabbaddi and Vollyball events.

Aravali Next Gen

Aravali Next Gen is the platform for the young students from various Schools in the District. Aravali Institute of technical studies continues with its mission along with this sort of activities to develop the overall talents of the students in this region.

Aravali Next Gen IV (District Open Interschool Cricket Tournament)

AITS organized Aravali Next Gen IV (District level Open Interschool Cricket Tournament) from 04/01/2013 to 09/04/2013. Total 16 teams from different schools of Udaipur District participated in the tournament with great energy and enthusiasm. The tournament was held at M.B. College ground. Aravali Next Gen IV trophy was won by MDS senior secondary school, sector 3 and the runner up trophy was won by M.M.P.S. senior secondary school. The prize ceremony was held at the M. B. College ground. The chief guest of the prize ceremony was Mr. Shailendra Somani, Director, MDS School. Also present at the ceremony were shri N. L. Khetan, Secretary Aroma Education Society, Mr. Amit Agrawal, Finance secretary, Aroma Education Society, Dr. Ajay Sharma, Professor CTAE, Mr. Hemant Dhabhai, Director, AITS. Aravali Institute of technical studies continues with its mission along with this sort of activities to develop the overall talents of the students in this region.

AITS honor all the winner at annual function ”AROMA” every year. A selected student is given the “The best player” award on the basis of sportsmanship and team spirit.
